New to owning a standardbred Empty
PostSubject: New to owning a standardbred   New to owning a standardbred EmptyTue Mar 10, 2009 10:49 am

Hi everyone,

I am new to owning a standardbred, i grew up with arabs and have had TB's, welshies etc...

I have to admit ive always been a little put off by standardbreds...that is until i owned one!! I swear, i cannot believe more people are going for them, they have THE best temps ive ever had the pleasure of knowing.

My boy is a 16.2hh STB gelding. I dont know alot about his racing history (if anyone knows how to track it, id love to find out).

He has the most gorgeous nature and is very friendly.

Hope to see you all on here soon!

Hiya, I use to have TB's but now I have STB's. They really have the best temperaments. Any other breed and I would not even DREAM of breaking them in. shok
Now all I have is STB's ( three ) and I lease a TB x Appy.

They all have great personalities.

Take a photo of the brand on his neck and I will trace it for you.

Oh and LOTS AND LOTS of photos please

cool photos welcome wagon

There are a few websites where you can track the racing history of your horse. As Kath said, send us a pic of his brand and we can trace it or tell you how. Smile
